Loma SMS Opt-In Story

A patient calls the Dental Office to cancel or reschedule their appointment. The Front Desk at the Dental Office will ask if the patient wants to be added to the “Sooner If Possible List” and get texts if an appointment opens up. If the patient says yes, they will be opted in for texts from Loma.

When the patient becomes a patient of record with the Dental Office, the office gets signed consent from the patient to be contacted about appointment scheduling.

When a patient gets added to “Sooner If Possible List,” they will receive a text message to let them know they were added to the list. This message will include instructions to reply “STOP” if they no longer want to be contacted by the Dental Office via text.

Patient has the option to remove themselves from the “Sooner If Possible List” text messages at any time by replying “STOP”. These instructions to opt-out will be included in the initial text message and the appointment scheduling message.
